Nails

Okay so here is the low down on my nails.  When I fractured my ankle bones and had surgery, I just did not feel like going and lugging my huge lime green cast in and out of the car in the Arizona heat of 112 degrees to basically go anywhere.  That included the nail salon.  So by the second week of August my nails looked awful.  I cut off all the acrylic one day and just decided I would wait...Well it has now been 6 months and they still look pretty bad.  30 years of acrylic nails really took their toll on my poor nails and nail beds.  They are lumpy with ridges soft and split.  Really not pretty to look at.

So right around Christmas I had the soak off gels applied...that lasted a month and then I decided no more.  This past Sunday I went to a Copics certification class and sat next to Danielle Johnson.  She was a really talented and fun person.  To make a long story short she gave me her business card and I went to her blog funandmentalchanges.com  I found a page she had on her blog titled Nails and I am hooked on trying what she has been doing , because pretty much she has done the same thing as i did only about a month earlier.  So I found a product she recommended on her blog called Nail Aid...I did find it at my Wal Mart on the US 60 and Greenfield.  I bought it three days ago and I am seeing amazing strong growth with my nails.  Yeah I just might make this work.  So here is my picture of my left hand the day I put the first coat of  Nail Aid Ultra Rapid Growth and then today which is three days later.
I think I see some growth not really a lot but they are so much stronger then with regular nail polish.  SO....Let's wait and see what they do in three more days.
